Much like technical skills, confidence and the ability to command attention is a discipline, one that is neither elusive, nor mythical, but rather one that can be cultivated, honed, and most certainly can be taught and learned.

In this workshop, you’ll be guided through the three types of confidence you’ll need as a working professional to build a formidable personal brand. Informed Confidence - Assessing your audience to disseminate information and knowledge for maximum impact. Sartorial Confidence - Literally dressing for success; Strategic Confidence - Understand the metrics against which your performance is measured, and have structured and timely conversation with your manager for professional growth.

Learning Outcomes

1. Establish Yourself as a Subject Matter Expert – You’ll be provided with a storytelling guide, to help templatize the process of conveying what you know, about a specific domain, and the depth/breadth of that expertise, tailored to the audience’s knowledge level.
2. Dress to Impress – You’ll be armed with Kikelomo’s “Golden Ratio of Professional Style, so that whether you’re in-person or appearing virtually, you’re presenting yourself sartorially in a way that is respectful of your environment. And we’ll also elaborate on ways that still celebrates you as an individual, and inspires others to do the same.

Grow Strategically – Finally, we’ll outline the importance of strategic and intentional growth, by utilizing a Growth Plan, which is an outline to have consistent, pointed, and documented conversations with your manager, measure your growth against MBOs and Targets, while quantifying impact to the organization’s success.

We won’t be discussing faking-it-until-you-make-it, impostor syndrome, or how to construct an impenetrable ego. My goal is for you to take ownership of your career, knowledge, and growth in ways that are irrefutable with tangible takeaways and measurable outcomes.
